Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1lb Ground Beef
  • 2tbsp Butter
  • 1cup Onionchopped
  • 1cup Mushroomsuse a variety of different kinds, if possible.
  • 2cloves Garlicthinly sliced
  • 1Can (28oz) Tomatoes
  • 1/2cup Bone Brothadd more as necessary
  • 1/2tbsp Oreganodried
  • 1/2 tbsp Sagedried
  • 1/2tbsp Thymedried
  • 1cup Basilfresh chopped
  • 2tbsp Balsamic Vingear
  • 1tbsp Salt
  • 1/2tbsp Pepper
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1/2cup Red Wineoptional
  • Parmesan Cheesefresh grated
Instructions
  1. Combine Ground Beef, Butter, Onions, and Mushrooms in a large Sauce Pot. Let them cook down for about 8 mins.
  2. After the meat has been a bit browned and the onions and mushrooms are cooked down about half way. Add the rest of the ingredients into the pot.
  3. Let it simmer for 1 hour uncovered, stirring continously to speed up the process. Alternatively cover it and let it simmer for 2-4 hours. Adding additional bone broth if the sauce gets too thick.
  4. Serve with cooked spiralized zuchinni “noodles” and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
