Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon! [The Best Side Dish]

This side dish is simple, rustic and oh so yummy!

In my opinion, there is no better side dish! I know, some people don’t like brussel sprouts, but I think they MUST hold judgment until they try them slow roasted with bacon and onions! The flavour of the sprouts almost become sweet and caramelized and the bacon adds a salty and wonderful touch!

If you want to make this we recommend using either a sheet pan or roasting pan. You will want to chop the onion and bacon into small pieces and mix them evenly with the brussel sprouts. Top with olive oil, salt and pepper and pop them in the oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes – 1 hour. It’s also important that you move them around occasionally to get an even roasting.

Serve as a side dish with oven roasted chicken, steak, fish or whatever. This dish is the ultimate little black dress, it goes with everything!

  • 1 lb Brussel Sprouts cut in halves
  • 1 lb Bacon chopped into small squares
  • 1 Small Onion chopped
  • 3 tbsp Olive OIl
  • Salt & Pepper

Instructions
  1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
  2. Using a sheet pan or roasting pan. Spread out the Brussel Sprouts, Bacon and Onion. Make sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Top with Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper
  4. Place in oven at 350 Degrees for 45 mins - 1 hour. Brussel Sprout should be every soft and carmelized. .
