The Best Grilled Prawn Salad [Keto-Friendly]

This unique west coast salad is loaded with succulent wild prawns and bright leafy greens. These prawns were fresh caught off the local coast here and OH BOY, are they absolutely delicious! This delectable combination of fresh prawns mixed with that mouthwatering hit of balsamic will have your taste buds singing.

Start by putting your prawns on a grill or in a well-seasoned cast iron pan. As the grillin prawns are sizzlin away, grind or sprinkle them with pink himalayan salt. Next, lightly rinse your greens for the salad. These leafy greens are fresh-cut from the local farmers market. I like a mix of greens with a variety of colours but you can also use romaine or spinach leaves.

Finally, Combine and whisk the dressing ingredients in a bowl and remove the prawns from the grill, when cooked, to rest.

We will then need to remove the rested prawns from their shells and add them whole, sliced, or diced to your dish.

Now, find your favorite salad bowl and begin to lavishly layer it with the scrumptious greens (Don’t forget to wash + dry your greens 🙂 ). Top with the freshly peeled prawns and add another sprinkle of himalayan or sea salt. To take your salad to the finish line, add some pumpkin seeds, chia seeds or even some sliced avocados. I like to drizzle the balsamic dressing last, toss it all together and Enjoy.

Whether you decide to experience this dish by the sea or nestled in at home, you will be guaranteed to have a successful catch with this plate!
